We had a small repair job on a wall that was needed before the painters came in and knew it would be difficult or expensive to get someone to commit
to such a small project. Ralph lives locally to me and really stepped up. He was super accommodating in working around the floor refinishers.
He even patched up some DIY we had attempted ourselves. We would highly recommend him and would use his services in the future.

Shortly after pulling my development permit I was contacted by Calgary Interior Systems via mail. As I progressed through my
project, it became obvious that I would not be able to physically handle the Drywall install. I contacted Calgary Interior Systems
and within 48 hours my project was being reviewed and a quote delivered within 24 hours. The attention to detail, quality of work and
holding to schedule was greatly appreciated. I had an unforeseen delay of a week, but 2 days after giving clearance to start, the boarders were on site,
2 days later mud and tape crew was working and 4 days later the Ceiling texture gentle man arrived. Project involved just under
2000 square feet of board and the project was complete in 8 days. I am very satisfied with Ralph (owner) and his crews were all
very professional, respectful, and executed quality work.

The cooridination between Calgary Interior Systems and client "homeowner" was well communicated
from the beginning of quotation and site preparation to finished product.
Organization between their trades was pleasant, from good quality of work, good house keeping of site to a degree.
From the discussion during quotation the promised work and final product that was agreed upon
was delivered excellently and ahead of the agreed schedule.
Calgary Interior Systems were very respectable with Covid-19 protocals, maintaining social distances
with the clients, and wore mask at all times while working on the site's basement.

Over a period of 20 years, I've used the services of Calgary Interior Systems for 3 large basement developments.
Two of which were walk-outs. My most recent project was a walk-out basement development in a new home we recently moved into in North Calgary.
The drywall stage, in my opinion, is what will stand out at the end and reflects the quality of the project. I'm definitely picky
when it comes to who does the drywall stage. Ralph has been in the business a long time and knows it well.
I was pleasantly surprised to see him using the same crews that I met 10 years ago on the 2nd project I hired him for.
This says a lot and means he gets consistent quality skilled work. Barry and Nathan did an amazing job on the taping and finishing.
Jason, who is the ceiling texture specialist, again does a perfect job, as did Allen and his crew who installed the drywall.
From start to finish, it was on time, scheduled well with great communication though-out.
They were courteous, respected covid protocols and most importantly just did a great professional looking job.

Major reno project
We are doing a major add bath and walk in closet from an existing bedroom.
Some walls were taken out and a closet in particular was removed with new gyprock needed in ceiling.
We hired Ralph and crew to try and match the textured ceiling in the existing master bedroom to the new drywall plain primed ceiling and I must say they did an amazing job !! My wife’s jaw actually dropped when she came in and saw the excellent match they had done. All covid protocols were followed , super professional Service.
Arrived on time , covered access floors , awesome clean up afterward and priced below estimate !!
Cannot give enough praise to a job well done !!

The work was done in a professional manor by respectful trades partners. He did stand behind their work and has taken care of some minor deficiencies
after the fact that I would consider being perfectly normal due to site conditions at the time. His pricing is fair, and he stands
behind the price by the end of the project. The only note I have to add which doesn't not constitute in us feeling short on the services provided is the
understanding of other trades and how they do things, and collaborating for the ease of the overall project however he's particular in their work so that

I contracted Ralph out to do the drywall in my basement after hearing how happy my wife’s cousin was with their work.
I wasn’t disappointed! Ralph and his team did great work and were extremely quick and courteous.
They even went beyond what was promised in the discussions/quote.
Saved me months of work as well as my sanity.
Some of the… jankier corners I had to frame to accommodate support pole placements posed no problem for the team.
I was also particularly impressed with the knockdown ceiling finish, especially after seeing some random examples on the internet!

I was 100% satisfied with the job! The owner, Ralph Birchard, was excellent to work with.

I have heard horror stories of “fly by nighters” doing a variety of construction projects but this was nothing like that.

Ralph has done dry walling on three ceilings of my Lakeview home. I have yet to see a man so professional in his workmanship and his communication skill. Before he started to work on the ceiling he explained to me exactly what I should expect on a given day so that there should be no surprises. I was totally prepared mentally and psychologically to undergo some inconveniences but to my surprise Ralph made it very easy and smooth. We were very pleased with Calgary Interior Systems. I had hired another contractor but they failed to return phone calls and start the job in a timely manner, and I was on a very tight schedule. So we hired Calgary Interior Systems with hopes to get it done quickly and well.
Material was dropped off two days after I called and the workers were very punctual and dependable throughout the whole job ( which only took a week and a couple days, exceeding our expectations).

Mudding and taping is an art. If you are not experienced with it, doing it yourself will take longer, make a bigger mess and in most cases, only end up looking reasonable.
